Volunteer Efforts for Development Concerns has worked with vulnerable communities since 1986, connecting food security, livelihoods, climate resilience, advocacy, and humanitarian response.

Who we are

Practical development work, built with communities.

VEDCO is a Ugandan NGO registered in 1992 under the NGO statute of 1989. The organisation works with farmers, women, youth, producer groups, schools, community trainers, local institutions, and partners.

The mission is to improve quality of life through food and nutrition security, agricultural trade development, climate change and natural resource management, humanitarian response, and advocacy.
