MOSES KAZIBWE-KAWUMI holds an LLB (Hons) Degree from Makerere University, Kampala and a Masters Degree in Management from the Uganda Management Institute. He acquired Post Graduate  Diplomas in Legal Practice, Law and Social Justice (Netherlands) and Management from the Uganda Management Institute.
He has practiced Law in Uganda with the prestigious firm of Kawanga & Kasule Advocates, lectured Bar Course students at the Law Development Centre, served as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Law, Uganda Christian University for 10 years and served as the Deputy Director, Legal Aid Project of Uganda Law Society.
His last appointment in the Public Sector was at the Uganda Revenue Authority where he was the Assistant Commissioner in charge of Litigation from 2005 to 2011.He is credited for developing systems and processes in the Litigation Division, contributing to tax jurisprudence through winning ground breaking cases, developing fresh Advocates into grounded Tax Litigators and raising the case win ratio to 80% as at the close of the 2010 calendar year.
He holds special interest in the areas of corporate governance ,taxation and economic development.
